Driveway Herb Garden

Lately, my friend Yeebien spread her gardening fever to me all the way from Connecticut to Kansas. My first attempt was the strawberry jar with herbs. The strawberry jar is pretty much a pot with holes on the side which will let you grow a few different plants at the same time. In this case, i followed instruction on bhg.com and planted chives, marjoram, basil, tricolor sage, lemon balm, pineapple mint and oregano in the jar.

A month later......... look at the picture, doing pretty well. So far, i have used the chives, basils, lemon balms and the pineapple mints. Steve is definitely liking the fresh herb in his food and drinks, better than those from Whole Food.
